For each administrative unit: the left panel illustrates the current crop yield per hectare (year 2017) in rainfed agricultural land, by crop; the right panel shows the total crop yield growth potential if the water requirements to expand irrigation (presented in the left panel of the Irrigation dashboard) are met. The figure is year and scenario-specific. The estimate is obtained using the validated Doorenbos and Kassam approach.
